The Garden and Waterfall

The gardens surrounding my home and studio have been evolving since we moved in the summer of 2002. It is slowly turning into a place for guests to sit and find peace.

The Moongate

I built this as an entry into the garden. It brings some magic to the neighborhood. Walking through, it is easy to imagine yourself stepping through a portal.

Waterfall and aquatic garden

The sound of the waterfall helps the visitor escape the noise and chaos of modern life in a city. When you rest here it is easy to forget that we are only 20 minutes to downtown D.C.

A Walk in the Garden

Sculpture sits in niches and on boulders. Limestone greening with the passing seasons. Ceramic glazes glinting in the sunlight.

Nature's Design

The caladium path grew into a striking display. It was brightness and color and serentiy.
